The close of 2011 meant the end of my year-long picture-a-day project.
While some days it was a challenge to find one thing to photograph, most days were easy and interesting.
Not all the pictures were great; some were silly or even a little boring but this endeavor taught me two things:1] to look up, down, around, under…basically everywhere to discover what’s around me and
2] there is beauty in and something interesting about everything. Here are some of the outtakes from
the year that were either cast aside because the lighting was wrong, image was blurry or not photographed
they way I would have liked or simply because another image taken that day was more powerful.
